Hello Fellow Seekers and Well Met
Now is the season of witches and devils and all those things that go "bump" in the night. And this is one of those times of the year that I both love and fear... why? I am so glad you asked.
People often talk about how they feel that they have been cursed, hexed, or someone else is creating chaos in their lives. And this is just ONE of the seasons when this talk is most common. And I am sure that it is most common now because of Halloween, this is the time when all those scary and dark things shine with an effervescence and we can not ignore them.
so I ask you - have you ever thought that you are cursed? Do you think that someone has put a hex on you, or is practicing "black" magic or sending bad energy specifically to you? If you have dear seeker, please read on.
If you have ever thought about researching how to actually curse or hex someone, you will have found that it takes an awful lot of time, research, preparation and energy to put something like that in motion. And unless you are a hate filled person, you are probably not going to invest the time and energy needed for such an endeavor. It's just too much work! And wouldn't you rather channel all that energy into something that is going to help yourself instead? I know that I would. The phrase "living a happy life is the best revenge" is something that we should consider when we are angry, hurt or jealous of another person.
We talk about "protection" and the need to keep ourselves protected from "negative energies"... and yes, that is something that we should all do. We talk about "jealousy" and the need to protect ourselves from other people's jealous energies... and yes, that is something we should all be aware of.... but how do we protect ourselves from ourselves?
WE are our own WORST enemy! Yes indeed... that little voice inside of your head that tells you "you are not good enough", "you screwed that up again", "you'll never make it"... that little voice comes from deep within. It lurks and waits behind our smiles, it overanalyzes any feedback we receive... just waiting to illuminate the criticism vs the praise.
How do we protect ourselves from this? We must learn to quiet that little voice. We must learn to change our own negative energy and jealousy into positive power.
Think of this scenario:
There are 2 people in similar business. One person is able to purchase a car, pay their bills on time, seems to have a wonderful relationship in their life, and their business has all the appearances of thriving. The other person struggles to pay their bills on time, is often scrambling at the last minute to get something completed, and generally seems to be crabby quite often.
- Crabby person looks at happy person and thinks... who do they think they are?
- Happy person doesn't look at crabby person - happy person thinks... I love my life!
- Crabby person looks at happy person and thinks... what do they have that I don't?
- Happy person doesn't look at crabby person - happy person thinks... I am so happy to meet new clients!
- Crabby person looks at happy person and thinks... it's not all about the money, that happy person has too much ego!
- Happy person doesn't look at crabby person - happy person thinks... I am so grateful for the blessings in my life!
Do you see a theme?
Crabby person is jealous, and spends time creating assumptions about happy person's life and ideals instead of focusing on their life, their business and their happiness.
Happy person is genuinely happy! They focus on their goals and acknowledge the positive things in their life.
One of the key rules in energy: LIKE ATTRACTS LIKE
The best way to beat negativity is with a positive attitude. I know it sounds like fluffy hype. But it truly works. I know, because I live it every day. And yes, I have dark days like all human beings. But in my darkest day there is a glimmer of hope that shines brighter than the sun; it illuminates my path through the darkness until I come back to the light of my happiness.
And you can do this too - I believe in all of you!
