Well Met Fellow Seekers
It seems that the animal kingdom has been very busy making appearances in my life in very interesting ways. I will post another time about the Pagan Pride Bee....
But first let me say - I was at an event yesterday (Oct 3, 2015) and it was an outdoor event. Those who thought it would rain were sadly mistaken, it did not, I said it would not, and I am as good as my word - LOL! I do not pretend to control the weather, but I do have a knack for prayer, and a strong belief that my prayers will be answered for the highest and best good of all.
NOW - on to the mouse.
I create an enchanted forest in my 10x10 tent... it's quite cute and homey inside, and it generates a lot of interest.
I will have to see about finding a better image to share. But I store all of my tree tapestries in a box - it is a box with wheels, I just roll it in and out of the garage, and back and forth from the car... it's nice that way.
I was setting up said enchanted forest, and I picked up a tapestry, and hung it up, then another, and then I got to the third tapestry, there was a little field mouse all curled up under that third tapestry, and I don't know who was more shocked - Mouse, or Me! I jumped, it jumped and began to run around inside the box like it was a racetrack. I said, hey, calm down now... I am sorry you are so far from home, but what are you doing in my box? Then I said don't bite me, and I will carry you to the real woods where you can be free.
Mouse allowed me to place my sleeve nearby and he climbed on - I wish I had the thought to take a picture - I walked over to the nearby woods and placed him down where he immediately scampered off and I went back to setting up.
I thought about this mouse quite a bit, and decided to look it up online. Here is what I found - but he didn't exactly scamper across my path, so I am not sure what to make of it all. I welcome your thoughts and insights!
If Mouse has scurried across your path;
The message is to see what is right before your eyes and to take action accordingly.
It may also be reminding you not to neglect the trivial but necessary things in life. Have you become to focused on one or two activities and neglecting the opportunities that surround you or are you trying to do too many things at the same time?
Know that to attain the big things in life you sometimes have to stay focused on the little things and stay in connected in the moment.
If Mouse is your Animal Totem;
You have a gift for paying attention to the minutest of details in everything your do. You can easily discern which details are the important ones and which one do not need your attention. Your heightened awareness of your surroundings allows you to spot danger long before others around you. You also tend to be rather timid or shy in time of stress. Your temerity does not go unrecognized by yourself however and is often compensated for by your adaptability and determination.
