This is a good question, how do you know if a healing is working for you . . . because sometimes healing work can throw us into a healing crisis, which may be unpleasant. And sometimes it is essential for us to go through a period of illness in order to let go of our old outmoded ways of being in the world. So it doesn't always immediately feel good! I guess it's what your gut is telling you -- is this right for me?? Being able to divine the answer to that question is the source of the art of being human, and we all experience that "rightness" in different ways.

AH - I have to say that I am open to all types of healing, and that being said - when I put it out there that I am hurting and people say they are sending me love, healing, good energy, etc... I do put some energetic filters up, but I ALWAYS find that those loving thoughts from others help to heal me... even if they do put me into a healing crisis (right with you Mikaya on that!!) and I need to be in bed for a day or a week even, I am often redeemed to better than my old self.
