Do you all have someone in your life whom you regard as a teacher, who organizes classes that you go to, who answers questions that no one else seems to be able to answer? Someone you trust to see further and deeper than you do, and can help you to see from the same broad perspective? If not, do you want such a person(s), and where would you/do you look?
(I could say that absolutely everyone in my life is a teacher for me, and of course they are, but I'm talking about something else here!)
Hi mikaya... Most of my life's lessons came from lots and lots of research and the rest from the proverbial school of hard knocks! It is my hope that this sacred space that we are co-creating will provide the "teacher" that you speak of....

Hi Mikaya! I currently have several "teachers" in my life - including all of you. To get where I am today, like Michelle, I have done a lot of research, and a lot of practice of my theories. I had a grandmother when I was very young who taught me about self awareness and the awareness of spirit... I often look to her (in spirit) to continue her guidance when I am in need. Life itself has been a great teacher, and continues to be!
If I were to search for someone to mentor or teach me something specific, I would most likely reach out to friends and acquaintances that I know who have similar minds, paths or experiences to see if they have experienced anything that I should look into.... and then I would go on to online resources.
I agree with Michelle, that this is a growing community that I hope will be a place that people will feel safe and comfortable in being their true selves, and we will all be able to offer our own unique teaching to them and to each other.
Yes, I think that kind of sharing is essential and deeply helpful on all kinds of levels.
I have been dependent on non-human beings for encouragement in being me (which seems to be what matters!), and i have received great wisdom from non-human quarters; a very wordless kind of wisdom from being alone in Nature (which I have done and still do a great deal) and a more wordy sort of wisdom from a few of the "realized beings" that speak through various humans. Abraham and Lazaris have both been useful, but AMAG whom I mentioned in another post, who speak through Dayana Jon, have been incredible support and assistance over the years. I can't see how I would have survived without them -- this world we live in is very beautiful and amazing -- and there are levels of ignorance and cruelty that I find very hard to deal with.
It does now feel, though, that I am beginning to find like-minded and like-hearted people, and I believe we are all rooting for each other. That is a great feeling!
hi Mikaya, I have had me to teach me through my lifetime. There have been friends who have helped to some degree in specific areas, especially healing myself. But, in ways of the world I learned the hard way. The Divine within has been a big part of my guiding Light. On the other hand there have been many who have asked me for help and support. I know this will be a wonderful experience in this community. Blessings to you. Jan

Learning the hard way is always a powerful way to learn - even when we have children and don't want them to make the same mistakes we do- sometimes they just need to in order to move forward in the direction of their own lives.
I think it's sometime essential to experience hard stuff. It's certainly a fast to learn what you don't want! It's horrible at the time, but later . . . it gives you a much deeper understanding and therefore many more choices in life.
